Bhada ghat and White Marble Mountain in Jabalpur


             Jabalpur is also known as City of Marbles. Historically a center of the Kalchuri and Gond dynasties, Jabalpue is developed by thr region of marathas.The topography of Jabalpur provides a picturesque setting for movies .The hills of Jabalpur, with varied mineral content are a popular destination for Geologists and Archaeologists. The city is surrounded by low, rocky, and barren hillocks. The town is surrounded by several lakes. 
Jabalpur also has a number of National Parks.

                Bhedaghat, a major tourist attraction, is known for its marble rocks. Major attractions are the Duandhar waterfall, marble gorge, and the Chausath Yogini temple. Boat ride is available from the Panchavti ghat in a mist several kilometer long marble gorge in river Narmada. The BhedaGhat and Dhuandhar serve as a site for movie shooting, and marble for statuary.

         The Dhuandhar Falls in Bhedaghat. The Narmada River after passing the Marble Rocks narrows to become a smoky waterfall. The Dhuandhar Falls is sudden and hence has a greater effect. This fall is a spectacular sight in Bhedaghat.

And if you want to enjoy the nature and love boating then there is a places not far, the place in known for its white marble mountains and of course boating. Many films and television serials are shot there.
